Hi, I’m Catherine, a passionate wedding photographer dedicated to capturing the magic of your special day. My approach is fun, immersive, and unobtrusive—I blend into your celebration, ensuring that every heartfelt interaction and behind-the-scenes moment is documented beautifully. I have a love for colour, energy, and emotion, and yes, I will absolutely shed a tear during your vows (professional hazard). More importantly, I understand that being in front of a camera can feel awkward, which is why I create a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere that lets your true emotions shine. Whether it’s guiding you with natural poses or just making you laugh, I’m here to ensure you feel confident and at ease every step of the way. And don’t worry about the camera—I’m a stealthy photo ninja, capturing those authentic, unscripted moments without you even realising I’m there. My goal is to deliver warm, relaxed, and breathtakingly beautiful images that feel as natural as the love you share.
My wedding photography story
I take a relaxed, documentary-style approach, capturing your wedding day as it naturally unfolds. You won’t find me directing stiff poses or interrupting heartfelt moments—instead, I focus on the genuine emotions, laughter, and little details that make your day uniquely yours. My aim is to provide you with a collection of natural and candid images that transport you right back to every joyful, tearful, and hilarious moment, allowing you to relive the magic again and again.
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me taking beach walks no matter the weather, indulging in true crime documentaries, and usually wearing something pink!
My other loves
Meet My Family – My Greatest Joy My world revolves around my beautiful children, Amber and Max. Amber, our fiercely independent little star, absolutely rules the house—she doesn’t take no for an answer! Currently obsessed with Harry Potter (for now!), she dreams of taking center stage and becoming an actress. Max, our cheeky little man who completed our family in 2019, keeps me on my toes every single day with his boundless energy and infectious laughter.
And then there’s Mr. Spiller—my husband, my best friend, and the one who keeps me grounded amidst the whirlwind of busy weekends. I couldn’t do life without him, or without any of them. They are my everything.
📍 Where I Call Home – I live in Honiton, Devon, and I truly love it here. There’s nothing that brings me more peace than being by the sea—it’s where I’m happiest.
📸 My Photography Philosophy – I’m a lover of natural light. To me, it doesn’t matter where you are—if there’s good light, there’s magic waiting to be captured. I seek out the most beautiful natural light at every wedding to bring your love story to life.
