Probably the most relaxed bridal prep morning I have ever had.
I met Louise and her bridesmaids in the pretty village of Curry Rivel in Somerset at her parent’s house just a stones throw from the church.
Louise’s transport for the day was a little less ordinary. A fleet of Lotus kit cars courtesy of the bride’s father meant the bridal party certainly arrived in style!
In true British summertime style the heavens opened as soon as we left the church, so after a quick whizz through the group shots while dodging the rain we headed back to Hornsbury Mill for the reception.
The Mill has such a lovely relaxed atmosphere, it’s perfect for those couples wanting to sit back, relax and enjoy their day. The lake and surrounding gardens give the perfect backdrop for all those newly-wed portraits.
Louise and Matthew were lucky enough to catch some beautiful evening light for a second lot of portraits, before I left them to enjoy their night with family and friends.
I hope you enjoy this small selection of images from their day.
Many thanks to Hornsbury Mill for the warm welcome and lovely food, Natalie at The Nail and Treatment Studio, Somerton for the ladies make-up and to Dan at Quadraphonic for the evening entertainment.
