Bank holidays in this country usually mean rain, cold and are generally not very nice.
When we were forecast blue skies, sun and 20+ degrees it seemed too good to be true.
Vanessa and Alison chose Deer Park Country House near Honiton for their Easter weekend wedding celebrations and what a stunner it was!
With friends and family coming as far as China in some cases, they were definitely treated to the best of the weather we (sometimes) get here in Devon! The beautiful outside ceremony was followed by a traditional Chinese tea ceremony where Vanessa and Alison were treated to gifts and wise words of advice from their elders.
We managed to catch some gorgeous evening sun in the walled garden which finished off my time with the newly married couple with just time for some awesome party shots as the sun set.
A massive thank you to Deer Park for the warm welcome and gorgeous food, Natalie Nicols for the amazing hair, Steph for second shooting on the day and Abidemaids for the stunning bridesmaids dresses.
